Our Team

Dr. Timo Bernd Strattner

Timo Strattner is the Group CEO, CFO and Chief Investment Officer. Dr. Strattner is an award-winning merchant banker, private fund manager and mostly known as a financier distinguished for his value driven transactions in primary and secondary capital markets. Dr. Strattner held senior management positions in various Companies in in the financial service industry. Some of his landmark transactions included a 1.5 Billion IPO in Australia, the launch of the alternative immunotherapy division of Affinity Medical as interim CEO and as lead project manager securing capitalization strategies for a Hong Kong-Mexican based social housing construction partnership. Dr. Strattner has distinguished himself as value-added manager. Dr. Strattner holds a Bachelor and a Doctor in Business Administration (DBA).

Prof. Pierre Bultez

Dr. Bultez is a globally acclaimed expert in risk analytics, risk management and corporate governance. He has over 40 years of experience in international training and risk consulting in banking, finance and micro-finance sectors in 72 countries. He has been the advisor of 18 central banks worldwide, 14 governments within Asian, European and African region and a board member of over 30 international financial companies. He has been attached with Luxembourg Financial Sector Supervisory Commission till recently. Dr. Bultez is also an international academician and holds visiting professorship in over 10 universities worldwide together with over 32 publications in the fields of risk analytics and financial governance. Professor Bultez brings extensive knowledge of corporate governance, risk management, risk governance, global rules and regulations and also strategic planning. He has several publications, such as Risk Management new tools, Pension Funds Risk Management in the OECD countries (National bank of Slovakia, 2006), The relationship with Bankers (ABB – Belgian Bankers Association), Microfinance as a tool to mobilize savings in growing countries; the case of Thailand. (Ministry of Economy and Finance Thailand-December 2011). Professor Bultez is also Corporate Finance Professional, Member of the FT Knowledge Ltd, NYIF (New York Institute of Finance), Executive Director of Global Executive Retreat (Switzerland).

Dr. Elena Dragunova

Elena Dragunova is the Chief Operating Office with the responsibility to leading the team from an operational perspective, which encompassed the day-to-day management of the business including managing Operations. The main focus of her role is to lead a collaborative team with strong, efficient processes and guiding the leadership team on relevant operational change. Elena has over sixteen years’ experience at the management level, in positions including Commercial Director, Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager and Managing Director mainly in hospitality and real estate industries. Prior to joining Strattners in 2020 Elena has managed sales and marketing team for a mix- development company in Phuket (Thailand) with focused on adding value from an asset management perspective, problem solving and driving revenue performance. Elena holds PhD in History of Art and Master in Business administration (MBA).

Leonimar Artajo

Leonimar is a senior developer who is proficient designing and developing with technologies such as Blockchain, Google Cloud Platform, Web3, Firebase, Raspberry Pi, programming in TypeScript, PHP, Java, C#, Dart, Solidity, and Python. Leonimar develops intra-organisational technology such as client chat apps and other digital solutions from A to Z.  He designs and implement both front-end and back-end, responsive Web Apps. He  designs and developes systems using relational and non-relational databases. Analyzing and maintaining existing software applications. Designing highly scalable, testable code. Discovering and fixing programming bugs.

Dr. Muhammad Saleem

Dr. Saleem is a quant specializing in advanced probabilistic & simulated estimations with expertise in 3rd generation predictive modeling and post-modern risk analytics. He has over 28 years of international professional experience in the fields of financial risk management, regulatory compliance and quantitative advisory. He is a member of BCBS Official Research Group (BORG) of Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS), a visiting Professor in 4 European & North American universities, author of 3 books on Advanced Risk Analytics and a Member of Who is Who of RiskCheck.
He has developed over 6000 models including 200+ proprietary algorithms for credit, market,
operational and liquidity risks measurement; and has assisted over 52 banks, 78 non-banking financial
companies, 28 private equity funds, 43 insurance companies, 104 asset management companies, 58
investment banks, 62 industrial conglomerates, 38 stock & commodity exchanges in 32 countries within 4 continents on development and deployment of risk management analytics and policies.
He has previously held senior level positions with KPMG, EY, Deloitte, Commonwealth Development
Corporation, Oliver Wyman, and the World Bank.
He had been a member of Board of Directors of 22 international companies in Pakistan, UK, and Canada, and had been an Advisor to the governments of 2 countries. He had been engaged with EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, OW, SAS & IBM as Independent Technical Expert, assisting in their worldwide assignments. Dr. Saleem holds a MA in Economics, MBA in Finance, LLM in Corporate Law, and PhD in Quantitative Finance.

Dr. Afshin Ashofte

Afshin Ashofteh holds a Ph.D. in Information Management specializing in Statistics and Econometrics; an MBA in Finance; a Post-graduate degree in Statistical Systems specialized for Central Banks; a Master`s degree, and a BSc in Mathematical Statistics. He is certified by TÜV NORD for Risk Management and Internal Audit of Information Security Management System (ISMS). He is a Member of the Information Management Research and Development Center (MagIC), NOVA IMS. His professional path includes the experience of teaching and applying Econometrics and Statistics to problems in financial risks, actuaries, and official statistics. His scientific interests have focused on Data Science in Finance and the implementation of Big Data and predictive models in the area of Banking, Actuaries, and Official Statistics. Recently, his research works are focused on ensemble models for panel time series, machine learning approaches, and data science. His recent article about a new machine learning approach for credit-scoring with Big Data is published in Expert Systems with Application (top 5% journal in artificial intelligence), with its PySpark code awarded a Reproducible Badge, and it was the winner of the first prize of the International Conference of Risk Analysis in Austria.

Philippe Haquenne

Philippe is a Belgian citizen with an Economics graduate from Mons University
and over 50 years’ experience in the banking industry. This experience has been
gained in several countries including Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland,France
and Monaco.
He was a Board member of one of the largest banks in Luxembourg, BIL, where
he set up a new private banking model (Mc Kinsey) before joining Dexia as CEO
of their Swiss bank. He subsequently served as CEO and Chairman for several
other well-known financial institutions in Paris and Luxembourg.
For the last few years, he has served on a voluntary basis for a major foundation
in Luxembourg as well as acting as Advisor and Non-Executive Director for a
certain number of wealth and asset management companies in the region.
He also succeeds in M&A activities in Luxemburg for foreign groups willing to
develop financial activities.
Whilst Philippe does not have a lot of spare time, he does enjoy playing golf as
often as possible and acts as Chairman of MCEI (Marketing Communication
Executive Internat) in Luxembourg.

Michael Pizzuto

Mr. Pizzuto is a graduate in Computer Science from Mercy College. He is an experienced executive with a long history in the technology area. He currently serves as deputy CISO for USPowerGen since 2017 based in New York City. In his role, he is overseeing IT security for power plants. Prior to his current position he was co-owner at BCDR Solutions re-selling telecommunication services to large corporations for voice, video and data. Mr Pizzuto also was corporate vice president at New York Life Insurance Company for 15 years. Mr Pizzuto was director of IT and built the country’s first retail store network for Ann Taylor Inc to 500 US stores. Mr. Pizzuto spent 9 years managing the network team at Philip Morris International. Mr. Pizzuto recently became a partner in April, 2020 with Strategic Acquisitions International overseeing the company financing.

Joseph Oneto

Joseph A. Oneto, President and Chief Executive Officer at InterNetworking Solutions, LLC has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who’s Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Joseph A. Oneto’s commitment to excellence in Information Technology. Oneto, who holds an Applied Science degree in Electro-Mechanical Computer Technology Engineering, from New York Technical College. He founded his organization, InterNetworking Solutions, LLC in March of 1998. He was able to navigate his company through a period of bad economies and slow growth, adapting and overcoming into better economic and market conditions. Having been in the business for over twenty-six years, Oneto has learned first-hand what works and what doesn’t. Crediting long-term experience to professionalism and years of technical training to the foundation of his career, he also knows the importance of continued seminars and classes to keep him abreast of the ever changing technological field. Attracted to the technology field early on thanks to his father who spent his career working on the instrumentation in the cockpit of commercial jets.
